Management

President

Dr. Sharad Kapur is the co-founder of Integrand Software. He graduated with a Ph.D. in computer science (numerical analysis) from Yale University in 1996. He joined Bell Labs in 1996 as a member of technical staff and stayed with the company as it changed from AT&T to Lucent to Agere. In 2003 he co-founded Integrand Software. He is the author of over 15 peer-reviewed publications, primarily in the area of numerical analysis and electronic design automation. He is the holder of 4 patents.

Vice President

Dr. David E. Long is the co-founder of Integrand Software. He graduated with a Ph.D. in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1993. He joined Bell Labs in 1993, and stayed with the company as it changed from AT&T to Lucent to Agere. In 2003 he co-founded Integrand Software. He is the author of over 35 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of numerical analysis, computer science and formal verification. He is the holder of 6 patents.

Marketing

Dr. Albert W. Lin has been working in the field of microelectronics packaging for more than 25 years. He started at Bell Labs in 1978 as a member of the technical staff. He is an expert in advanced packaging technologies, such as SIP (system-in-package), wafer-level packaging, and, flip-chip. He served as the director of the microelectronics packaging division in the Electronic Research Service Organization in Taiwan from 1993 to 1996. In 1993, Dr. Lin co-founded APack Technologies, Inc., at the Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan. He is the president of Microlinks Technologies, LLC, which provides marketing consulting services for Integrand.

History

Prior to forming Integrand, the founders developed several large software platforms that have found widespread use, both internally at AT&T, Lucent and Agere, and externally in the electronic design automation industry. Technologies that they developed have been licensed by companies such as Cadence Design Systems, Agilent Technologies, and Ansoft. Some web sites related to these technologies are detailed below.
