IBM

IBM uses EMX to simulate passives structures such as inductors, transformers, and through-silicon vias, significantly expediting the design and optimization of passives. In support of foundry customers, IBM provides consultation and guidance for layout optimization for RF signal integrity. EMX is generally used as part of this analysis and support flow. In addition, as a component of IBM process design kits, EMX process files and setup information are released to customers. This enables IBM and Integrand customers to run simulations with minimal effort, and allows them to focus on thorough analysis of technology capabilities, design trade-offs and performance improvements.
